Journal no. 14

HI ma'am!,kOnichiwa!.. This week we began in studying the integral exponenets. This chapter started in our first lesson, the topic about the positive integral exponents. This lesson serves as a glimpse on my past lessons about exponents so for me it's just too easy to understand. The next topics that we tackled are about the products of powers, power of a product, power of a monomial,etc..Sometimes I admit that I'm getting confused of this lessons but if you focus your attention to the reminders, you can make a perfect shot to your tests..

Thnks..

Journal no. 13

We started in discussing "Word Problems Using Quadratic Equations." The first problem that we studied is about "Number Relations." I like to solve this kind of problem because it is easy. "Geometric Problems" were the next problems that we tackled. In solving this type of problem you must follow the formula "a2=b2=c2." I don't know the name of the third problem that we studied but I know its formula. The formula for it is "h=vt-16t." "Age Problems were the fifth problems that we discussed. For me, this type of problem is exciting and easy. The last type of problem that we tackled are about "Work Problems." This type of problem is good and exciting. Why? If you solved one work problem you can find out who is fast or slow in working.

Yesterday we tried to solve some problems. I wish that my solutions are all right.

This week we studied the relationship between the coefficient and roots of quadratic equations
It was easy to understand because the only thing that you must put only in your mind is "if x1 and x2 are the roots of the quadratic equation ax2 + bx = c = 0, then
x1 + x2 + -b/a and x1 x2 = c/a...
thank you..

"hi ma'am!"

I learned to get the discriminant of the equation. The formula for this is b=4ac.... I also learned to get the sor and por of the quadratic equation...

thnks...

Hi ma'am!
This week we discussed about the quadratic equation This equation is defined by the equation "ax + bx + c =0" We also studied the roots of a quadratic equation and solution of a quadratic equation vby factoring.. For me it is easy to learned if you'll study it very well..

"Hello ma'am!"
This week we studied the graphs of linear inequalities . It is easy to understand but sometimes I forget the rules. I am wrong in shading or the direction of the line.. That's all.. Thanks...

"Hi Ma'am" "it's me again..!"

About our topic this week??? It's quiet easy to understand... Oh its about the Trichotomy Law and Linear inequalities..

One thing that I can't understand about this lesson is the equation of the line... And my mind is so confused about which part II will shade,,,

Thanks Ma'am..

"hi ma'am!"

This week we studied two different types of problem. This are the mixture problem and investment problem. For me the mixture problem is a type of problem that is easy to solve than the investment problem. The only thing that confuse me is finding the equations of the problem.

Thank you!
